I stayed a weekend here with a friend. We chose to stay in two of the suites which are both very spacious and comfortable. Every room we looked into was inviting and well appointed. There is plenty of sitting areas to gather or to be alone, not to mention the beautiful porches where you can listen to nature and watch the deer gather around a pond situated a nice walking distance from the house. Mary Beth and Tom are warm and engaging and know so much about the history that surrounds them. Breakfast was yummy and fresh. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This was the first time I have ever stayed at a bed and breakfast and I was a little nervous about it. This place was so amazing!! The owners are so nice and amazing cooks. The breakfast they made for us was to die for! We had juice, tea, coffee, ham steaks, toast from homemade bread, an egg and vegetable bake. The home was absolutely beautiful and had so much charm. Very reasonable price. Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I stayed at Rockgirt this summer while visiting the area. Mary Beth and Tom were gracious hosts, ensuring that our stay was a comfortable and enjoyable one. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Queen Suite and very much enjoyed the beautiful view from our private balcony. Each morning Mary Beth made a breakfast that was to die for and if it would be permissable, I would very much like to have some of her recipes! We loved everything about our stay at Rockgirt and we only regretted not adding more nights to our stay. We’ve already started recommending this B&B to our friends and family and this is where we will stay the next time we are in the area.
As this was our first AirBNB booking, it has raised the bar very high for future bookings. The host and premises were so warm and accomodating. It was such a comfortable home to share a special time with my family.
